Montek Developers

Quickstart

Five minutes from an invitation to structured data.

Get access

Montek accounts are by invitation; there is no self sign-up. When your Montek contact invites your company, sign in with Google on the invited address and create your organization. If your company already uses Montek, ask its admin to invite you. Each end customer is a project: choose it in the project switcher, or create it in Settings → Projects.

Choose a plan

On Plans, choose a plan for the model in this project. Calls count toward the plan; beyond the included amount they continue at the overage price, up to the cap set on Limits. Montek invoices your organization at the start of each period; the invoices are in Settings → Billing, and you pay by bank transfer.

Create a key

Create a key for the project on API keys. Keys start with mk_live_ and are shown once; store yours in an environment variable.

export MONTEK_API_KEY=mk_live_...

Call extract

curl https://api.montek.io/v1/extract \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $MONTEK_API_KEY" \
  -F model=langbiang-extract-1.0 \
  -F file=@order.pdf

label and value are copied exactly as printed, never translated. box is [x, y, width, height], normalised to the page. Fields marked unsure deserve a human look; refs lists the fields the comment talks about.
